The main focus of the Henry George Birthplace, Archive, and Historical Research Center this month has been preparing the Birthplace to receive archival material from the Henry George School of Social Science in New York City.  To that end, BAHRC staff have arranged meetings with local preservation architects for advice on how to maximize storage capacity without compromising historical or structural integrity.  We also are in the process of cleaning and preparing a 19th century dress for display at the Birthplace.
